Personal Statement On Teacher Teachers - 931 Words
Upon my arrival, the children were engaged in free play activities. However, about five minutes later the teacher called them to the music center. She informed them that they would do a music and movement activity inside because of the weather (it had been raining earlier that morning). There were ten children present along with two teachers. The children appeared to be happy and engaged. Teacher Lesson Plans The teacher did use a lesson plan. She pulled her resources from the Creative Curriculum for all of her subjects. As an educator, my students will not use the same system. I will implement and use the system that is utilized by the school system. I will also use technology to get classroom ideas or worksheets. One of the websites I plan on researching is teacher pay teacher website. This website offers free down loads of materials, handouts and workbooks and the materials were created by teacher (Teacher Pay Teacher). The children are involved in planning and contributing in the lessons. The teacher asks for the students input. She involves them by asking them questions about things they would like to know and if they are interested in learning about certain subjects. She then implements their thoughts or questions into her lesson plan pertaining to the subject. Lesson Observed One of the lessons I observed was the music and movement activity. Nine of the students were involved in this activity. The other child was playing with the puzzles.
